Paula Cole This Fire Rock Music CD Review
The super talented Rock artist Paula Cole has released her most recent CD on the Warner Bros. Records recording label, entitled This Fire.
This Fire launches with an outstanding track, Tiger, that I anticipate will be heard on radio stations everywhere, and deservedly so. It’s a really nice track.
This Fire is a nicely varied, mix of 11 tracks that are very well written songs by this clearly superb artist. Most of the songs display a lot of the kind emotion that makes for a really great listen. Clearly drawing from what I can only imagine are her own real life experiences. At different points touching on the most real emotions like love, and the pain of failed relationships can certainly be heard.
If you’re a Paula Cole fan this is a CD your collection flat cannot be without. In fact, this is one of those CDs that you don’t even have to be a fan of Cole, or even Rock to know is good. It’s just good music. Period.
While this entire CD is really very good some of my favorites are track 2 - Where Have All The Cowboys Gone?, track 7 - Road To Dead, and track 11 - I Don't Want To Wait
My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 1 - Tiger. Outstanding!
